Marketing Assistant (Part Time) Specific

Work alongside the Sales & Marketing Manager to design, implement and evaluate:

Company Value Propositions
Communication Plans inc PR
Lead Generation Campaigns
Vendor Business Plans
Social Media Strategy (Facebook/Twitter/Blog)
Company Web Site

General

  • Ensuring that all processes and procedures comply with operational and statutory requirements
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level of responsibility with a willingness to be flexible with working hours to respond to the needs of the company.
  • Undertake training consistent with developing skills relevant to duties and responsibilities of the role.
  • Be vigilant in matters relating to health and safety within and external to the company’s offices.
     

Main objectives:

  • To deliver an effective and efficient marketing support to the company.
  • To demonstrate a practical commitment to the company's strategy and aims.

15 hours per week. Additional hours may need to be worked from time to time to meet client requirements and fulfil the requirements of the role to the company’s satisfaction. 

Person Specification

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience in a Marketing or Sales role in a B2B environment
  • Ability to handle a number of activities simultaneously and to balance priorities to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of working with different levels of management, individuals, suppliers, customers, partners
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

JOB RELATED SKILLS

  • IT literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

PERSONAL JOB RELATED SKILLS

  • Ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to work within a small team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure in a calm and mature manner.
